Privacy policy
This Privacy policy explains how Studio Serial, a craft business for services, production and trade, owned by Ines Rukljač (controller), collects, uses and protects the personal data of visitors and users of the otklon.ai Website, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Act on the Implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation.
2. What data we collect
Contact form data — first and last name, e-mail address, company name and the content of the message you send us.
Data when scheduling a conversation — name, e-mail address and data you enter into the appointment booking system (e.g. a Google Calendar booking page).
Technical data about Website use — via cookies, e.g. IP address, browser type, pages you visit (see the Cookie policy).
We do not collect special categories of personal data (e.g. health data, data about beliefs) via the Website.
3. Purpose and legal basis of processing
Responding to enquiries and communicating with potential clients — legal basis: taking steps prior to entering into a contract, at the request of the data subject (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Scheduling and conducting business conversations — legal basis: performance of pre-contractual or contractual obligations.
Website usage analytics to improve content — legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), where applicable through cookie settings.
Compliance with legal obligations (e.g. accounting and tax) — legal basis: legal obligation.
4. Data retention period
We retain personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by applicable law (e.g. accounting rules). Contact form data that does not result in cooperation is as a rule deleted no later than 24 months from receipt of the enquiry, unless the data subject requests earlier cessation of processing.
5. Data recipients
We do not sell your data to third parties. Data may be available to service providers we use to operate the Website and our business (e.g. e-mail service provider, appointment booking tool, hosting), who process the data solely on our behalf and in accordance with our instructions.
6. Transfer of data outside the EU/EEA
Some of the service providers we use to operate the Website (for example Google LLC, for appointment booking via Google Calendar, and any analytics tools) are established outside the European Economic Area, in the United States of America. Transfers of data to those providers are based on appropriate safeguards, including participation in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and/or standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

erasure of data (the “right to be forgotten”),
restriction of processing,

object to processing, including processing based on legitimate interest,
withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
You may submit requests to ines@otklon.ai. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP).
8. Data security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse.

We reserve the right to amend this Privacy policy. The current version is always available on the Website.
